Privacy policy
This policy describes the AmiMaker Android app published under com.amimaker.app.
Data we process
- Account: Firebase Authentication processes your Google account identifier, display name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in.
- AI requests: prompts, crochet text, notes, and reference images you choose are sent through Firebase Functions to the configured AI provider to produce results. The current app does not intentionally store prompt or image contents in Firestore or Cloud Storage.
- Entitlements and limits: Firebase stores plan state, AI usage, credit/reward records, and hashed Google Play purchase-token ownership. Raw purchase tokens are used for verification in transit and are not intentionally logged.
- Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics may process crash and device diagnostics. AmiMaker does not currently integrate Firebase Analytics or Performance Monitoring.
- Advertising: Google Mobile Ads may process advertising identifiers and device/network data only after Google UMP reports that ads may be requested. Pro users do not receive AmiMaker ad placements. Rewarded AI credits remain disabled until server-side verification is approved.
- Local data: projects, round progress, preferences, cached media, and generated PDFs can be stored on your device.
Purchases
Google Play processes subscription payments. AmiMaker verifies the subscription product amimaker_pro and its monthly/yearly base plans with Google Play.
Retention and deletion
In-app deletion removes the Firebase Auth account, server-side entitlement/usage/reward/project records, known user storage prefixes, and local app state. A one-way purchase-token hash tombstone may be retained for up to 180 days after deletion or paid expiry, whichever is later, to prevent subscription rebinding and fraud. Minimal deletion job/audit records are retained for up to 30 days for recovery and support. These periods require final operator/legal confirmation before production deployment.
Your controls
Where required, the app displays Google UMP privacy choices. You can delete your account in the app or use the external deletion request process. Deleting AmiMaker does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
